Iconic Lebanese Eatery Barbar Opens Second Doha Outlet

The much-loved Lebanese restaurant ‘Barbar’ has opened its second Qatar branch in Ramada’s Bint Sheikh Tower, following the huge success of its first outlet, which opened three months ago, at Place Vendôme Mall.

Brought to Qatar by premium restaurants operator Lavoya, Barbar’s diners can enjoy their favorite food from an extensive menu selection including the iconic shawarma, signature sandwiches like the Francisco, barbecue and much more.

Commenting on the new outlet, Barbar Founder, Mohammad Al Ghaziri, said: “We are thrilled with this latest expansion of Barbar. There are many Lebanese and Arab nationals, as well as other expatriates in Qatar who are keen on savoring the nostalgic flavors of Beirut. Diners in Qatar have responded extremely well to the brand and its authentic taste, which led to the opening of this second branch.”

Lavoya’s Co-Founder and CEO Walid Hajj said: “The company has ambitious expansion plans. In addition to recent openings in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, further regional branches are scheduled in 2023, as GCC and wider Middle Eastern markets have huge potential for the ‘Barbar’ cuisine and service.”

Delighting customers for more than 40 years in Lebanon, Barbar started as a small bakery in Hamra Street, in the heart of Beirut, and quickly became a favorite for its delicious manakish, shawarma, falafel, and signature sandwiches. Being truly authentic, Barbar offers the healthy food for which Lebanese cuisine is known.
